Ever since Audrey Hepburn and Givenchy, the LBD (little black dress) has been a staple in every fashionista's wardrobe. I thought I'd feature some really affordable ones here. Wear them to a party and make them more unique with funky, bold accessories.
This fun, twenties-style dress from Target would look adorable with some long pearls and colorful shoes, like the gorgeous, lickable Jeffrey Campbell yellow heels a few posts ago (which I'm now saving up for). $19.99. This LBD is relatively casual. It's just beckoning for some colorful chunky bangles to layer over the sleeves. Make it even funkier by layering over a bright turlteneck or adding fluorescent tights. $29.99.This would be an adorable dress to wear to a New Year's Eve party. Funk it up with bright dangly earrings and patterned flats. $29.99.Last but certainly not least is my favorite of the bunch. It's so playful and young. The neckline is perfect for a great nacklace, and it would look fantastic with some cute platforms or even some sparkly flats. Throw in a dainty but eye-catching clutch, and you're ready for anything, from a birthday party to a school dance. $29.99.

TV Character Fashion: Amanda on Ugly Betty
Urban Outfitters
Urban Outfitters is the Fashionista's heaven. The price range is so strange, yet amazing and unexpected. Brousing the site tonight, I came across some items I'd kill to have living in my closet.I absolutely adore kitten heels. I think they are so comfortable and casually chic, so of course I love this black pair.
This dress reminds me of the 1920s or 30s. It's casual and flowy and looks incredibly comfortable, especially for a party or school dance.
These pants are insanely wide, a la the great Katharine Hepburn. These days, it's either really skinny or uber-wide.
I love turtlenecks. There's just something so cozy and classic about them. I love the color of this one, and it looks incredible with those great boots.
When I caught sight of this yellow pair of shoes, my heart skipped a beat, my stomach suddenly filled with butterflies, and I began salivating like a dog. Like chocolate, one can never have too many shoes, especially creamy yellow ones that look like lemon candy. I just want to lick them. Too bad they're almost $100.
I've been dying for a sequined blazer ever since I saw the always ethereal Cate Blanchett wearing a gorgeous green one in Premiere. This is the closest I've gotten. But I love vests, so I'll settle.

December Again
These are some of the cutest flats ever. And for $14.99 on the Urban Outfitters site, I just might buy them.
Ah... It's nice to take a break from studying for finals and completing last-minute assignments to bask in some online window-shopping. Everyone should try it.
It's December again, but my mouth still tastes like Thankgiving.
Ta-Ta. PS: Melrose should have won Top Model!
